As part of this Weekender, we are finally hosting the postponed screening of Verhullen, the short documentary following Gino van Dam through the quiet edges of his life and the experiences that shaped his debut album MENG.

Verhullen exhibits the visceral mundanities, lost loves, and ruminations on life through Gino’s eyes. The film traces the way he navigates introspection and plant medicine, two connected facets that opened the space for him to write his story in MENG. It is a quiet, intimate look at an artist exploring the boundaries of his own mind.

The screening brings a reflective moment into the Weekender program, offering space to step inside the narrative behind the work before we move further into the weekend.
